This is a very nice full size violin in the style of Stradivari. The back, made from highly striped maple and from one piece is simply stunning. The ribs, neck and scroll are also highly striped and the instrument is very attractive to the eye. The amber/red varnish is superbly applied, the fingerboard is of ebony as are the pegs, tail piece and chin rest. I have fitted a very good quality bridge and a set of Pirastro Tonicas which bring out the rich and warm qualities in the tone produced. (Have a listen to the sound clip). This violin has a strong tone and is very responsive and I highly recommend it and in my opinion it is suitable for most players. It comes with a new case and a very good bow which are free of charge.
