Product Description

Excellent handmade viola 15.5 inch

This viola is just stunning – made by one luthier from start to finish this instrument is of the highest quality. It is made from top quality materials and hand finished with Italian made oil varnish. It is based on the Stradivari design, the tone is nicely balanced on all 4 strings and responsive. With its good projection, this viola is suitable for advanced players as well as those who wish to upgrade from a student outfit. You can tell that the craftsmanship is excellent in all ways. I particularly like the peg workmanship. This viola is a no nonsense oil-varnished viola suitable for all players. It is antiquated slightly for that fine touch; it is a viola with a lot of charisma. I have fitted a high quality bridge and synthetic core strings which help to enhance the rich, warm tone that this instrument is capable of producing. (listen to the sound clip)It comes with a nice modern lightweight case and a good bow which are free of charge. I don’t think you will better this for the money – superb value. You will be buying the viola in the photos as I only have the one. £12.00 will be added to the total automatically when you click the buynow button towards the postage cost.
