It also benefits from the fact that it has been played regularly for the last few years by the previous owner so that the tone is strong and very open. This violin is easy to play, responds very well with good projection. The workmanship is very good as is the quality of the tone woods. The finish is a rich, bright colour, very attractive. I have set this up myself so it has a lovely playing action, a high quality maple bridge and a set of good quality synthetic strings.
