This is a lovely modern totally handmade full size Stradivari style violin. Made from excellent tone woods air dried for twelve years. Italian style oil varnish, inlaid purfling and boxwood fittings including a set of beautiful hand carved tuning pegs. The top is made from high quality close grained spruce and the varnish is dark brown on a golden ground. The back, sides and scroll are made from very nicely striped matching maple. I have fitted a high quality maple bridge and a set of Tonica strings which help to create the rich, warm and full on tone that this instrument can produce (listen to the sound clip). In my opinion this violin is suitable for all standards of player and while stocks last it will come with a free carbon fibre bow, shoulder rest, rosin and lightweight oblong case.
