This is a lovely modern totally handmade full size violin. Made from excellent tone woods air dried for twelve years. Italian style oil varnish, inlaid purfling and ebony fittings. The top is made from high quality close grained spruce and the back, sides and scroll are made from very nicely patterned maple. The pegs are geared tuning pegs, this will mean the end of any tuning problems that you may have encountered in the past. The tail piece also has four fine tuners fitted so welcome to tuning bliss. These geared pegs are an expensive addition making this outfit particularly good value. I have fitted a high quality maple bridge and a set of Tonica strings which help to create the rich, warm and full on tone that this instrument can produce (listen to the sound clip). This instrument is well set up and easy to play and in my opinion is suitable for all standards of player and while stocks last it will come with a free carbon fibre bow, shoulder rest, rosin and lightweight oblong case.
